IAE's distance learning project/continuing program is but one component of its overall plan. IAE has selected elementary, middle and high schools, each with university or college mentors, in ten states: Alabama, California, Colorado, Georgia, Iowa, North Carolina, Oregon, Tennessee, Virginia and Washington. International schools have been selected in Colombia, Egypt, Germany, India, Mexico, Scotland and the UAE. {Schools in four additional states and six countries will be included in this project.}

This interactive computer and teleconference project will focus on:

• the environment with emphasis on historical and current global and local issues
  
  
• cultural studies and multi-lingual opportunities
  
  
• creative and journalistic writing
  
  
• other fields of study
